CHICAGO — Johnson Controls is showcasing the York Affinity 98 percent AFUE modulating gas furnace, a highly efficient unit that the company says is easy to install and service in tight spaces. The furnace fully modulates heat input in 0.65 percent increments between 35 and 100 percent firing rates. For residential new construction or retrofit applications, the furnace’s 33-inch size provides a solution where space is limited, including closets, attics, and basements with low ceilings. The furnace also provides multiple venting options and multiposition design.

Here Andy Armstrong poses with the product which won the AHR Expo Innovation Award in the Heating category.
