Generac educational trailer hits the road

Industry News
May 8, 2014

Generac’s 53-ft Power Trip Experience trailer may be coming to your city this year. The company has been hitting the road for over a decade to educate engineers on generator products and solutions.

Designed to educate in a hands-on environment with a 16-seat theater, the trailer features two live paralleled generators complete with switching, simulated utility outage, and an overview of software capabilities featuring Generac’s own GenLink™ monitoring software.

Engineers can also see the full size scale model of Generac’s 600kW Bi-Fuel generator, offering a factory built EPA compliant system. Generac also gives customers a look at its Bypass Isolation switch, Generac's GTS series switch, and the newly released Tri-Source manual and automatic switches for select business solutions

A “Solution Center” will feature an interactive look at applications, products, and innovations across multiple vertical markets. An overview is also provided on Generac’s power solutions ranging from single set generators to 2MW to paralleling solutions up to 100MW.

Customers will also have the opportunity to interact with Generac representatives in order to ask questions and learn more about the product lines.

The trailer’s next stop is on May 20 in Green Bay, WI. For a full list of cities and dates, go here.
