Distech Controls returns to Branham300 list

May 12, 2011

Distech Controls has ranked #119 in the Branham300 list of Top 250 Canadian Information and Communications Technology Companies for 2011. The Branham300 is produced annually by the Branham Group and highlights the top Canadian and multinational ICT companies operating in Canada.

The privately-owned company continued its growth trend over the past 12 months. In the 2010 edition of the Branham300, Distech Controls ranked #136.

“We are very proud to again be named to the Branham300 list of Canadian ICT companies”, commented Etienne Veilleux, president & CEO, Distech Controls. “Distech Controls is committed to developing innovative products and leading solutions based on open standards, providing increased connectivity with a facility’s IT infrastructure and increasing operational efficiencies, while making buildings greener and more energy efficient.”

Distech Controls designs and manufactures systems and products based on open and interoperable communication protocols, delivered via a Web-based building management platform. The open nature of its systems allows for the increased integration of building and IT infrastructures, resulting in reduced total cost of ownership, and increased insight into building efficiency and energy performance.

“By making the Branham300 for a second consecutive year, Distech Controls continues to demonstrate its leadership in this rising sector within the Canadian ICT Industry,” notes Wayne Gudbranson, president & CEO of Branham Group. “Distech Controls’ sustained growth in a still recovering economy is a testament to the company’s ability to continuously innovate and deliver leading-edge technology.”
