California contractor receives award
A San Jose, California-based company won an award for its commitment to the contractor organization the Unified Group.
J&J Air Conditioning won the group’s Making the Difference Award. The award was given at the association’s November 2017 annual meeting held in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The company received the award for attending all five training sessions, as well as participating on task forces and facilitating discussions and embodying the group’s goals, officials said.
“J&J Air Conditioning is a company with an amazing culture that can be seen in the attitudes of each of their employees,” said Janet Kelleher, the Unified Group’s executive director. “They are always open to sharing and learning from others to grow and get better. They understand the power of the group and really care about their fellow members. Together we make the difference.”
