Quote Software has new owner
Sheet metal software firm sold to ConstructConnect
Ductwork fabrication software maker Quote Software Inc. has been purchased another software company, ConstructConnect. Terms were not disclosed.
“The acquisition of Quote Software, which includes its award-winning QuoteSoft product line, is a natural fit that gives us the ability to offer a more complete and actionable preconstruction solution to our combined customers,” said ConstructConnect CEO Dave Conway. “This is an important transaction for us, and is a key component of how we continue to serve the industry by combining relevant construction information with easy-to-use software.”
Quote Software’s products include QuoteSoft Duct and QuoteSoft Pipe for sheet metal forming, building information modeling and mechanical contractors.
Quote Software President Kerry Brainard said ConstructConnect and his company have similar cultures.
“We’re excited to be part of the ConstructConnect family,” Brainard said. “We share the same philosophy about maintaining strong customer relationships, by letting our customers drive the development of our products.”
