Ferguson names HVAC vice president
HVAC and plumbing equipment distributor Ferguson has appointed Carlton Harwood as vice president for HVAC.
In this role, he will oversee the company’s HVAC division, which includes more than 130 locations. Harwood succeeds Alex Hutcherson, who is now Ferguson’s chief operating officer.

Harwood joined Ferguson in 1988 and spent 10 years with its HVAC group before holding leadership positions throughout the company. He rejoined the HVAC division in 2015 to lead its efforts in Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey.
“Carlton Harwood has strong relationships with our vendor partners and customers alike,” Hutcherson said. “Those relationships, plus his extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of our industry, will help drive sales growth in our HVAC business.”
