Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has been added to the speaker lineup at Greenbuild 2017.
The 42nd commander in chief is scheduled to speak at 6 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Boston convention center.
Mahesh Ramanujam, president and CEO of the U.S. Green Building Council, which presents the Nov. 8-10 sustainability conference, said the association is excited to hear his message.
“President Clinton is a longtime friend and advocate of the green building movement and our community continues to be encouraged and inspired by his years of philanthropic work to help those less fortunate and create resilient communities,” Ramanujam said. “We know that his message of inclusion and environmental responsibility will challenge us to not only be better environmental stewards, but to be better citizens of the world.”
