SMACNA Detroit has new executive
Director is former Local 80 business manager

SMACNA’s metro Detroit chapter has a new executive director.
Mark Saba, formerly business manager with Sheet Metal Workers Local 80, will take over the Sheet Metal and Air-Conditioning Contractors’ National Association’s Detroit-area chapter, effective Monday.
SMACNA Detroit officials said Saba has 27 years of construction industry experience. In a statement, the chapter welcomed him to the staff.
“We look forward to working with Mr. Saba in this new capacity as he will focus on securing market share through program promotions as well as strengthen membership services,” the association said.
