SMACNA Detroit donates $10,000 to the Detroit Fire Fighters Fund
SMACNA Detroit recently celebrated another successful fundraising effort this year at its 53rd Annual Gold Outing held at the Indianwood Golf & Country Club in Lake Orion, Michigan.
:We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the sponsors and guests who attended the sold-out 53rd Annual Golf Outing held on August 12, 2019 at Indianwood Golf & Country Club," says SMACNA Detroit. "We would also like to give special thanks to the sponsor companies who provided promotional items for all our golfers. Your contribution to the golfer’s gift bag was appreciated by all the golfers and SMACNA Detroit."
As a result of fundraising efforts, SMACNA Detroit donated a total of $10,000 to the Detroit Firemen's Fund during the outing. The firefighters on hand to accept the donation were extremely grateful and genuinely overwhelmed by the generous support.
The Detroit Firemen's Fund recently conducted another successful Detroit Firefighters Field Day (free community event) the day prior. Despite this, they are always committed to help during SMACNA Detroit's outing.
"SMACNA Detroit is thankful to be the catalyst in bringing together your kindness and the efforts of Detroit firefighters as they continue to service citizens in the great City of Detroit," says the organization.
