Samco Machinery hires sheet metal fabrication supervisor
Roll-forming equipment manufacturer Samco Machinery has appointed Jim Glamcevski to its production team as fabrication supervisor.
A licensed machinist by trade, Glamcevski has held various roles in the industry, including machinist, tool maker, CNC programmer, CNC milling and lathe operator, among others. He also has held leadership positions as a production control specialist, CNC programmer and machine shop supervisor.
The Toronto-based company said Glamcevski brings key experience to continuous improvement programs focusing on safety, quality and production deadlines. In his new role, Glamcevski will work on implementing measurable goals per function and driving improvement in fabrication.
