Apex picks senior VP
Toolmaker Apex Tool Group LLC has named Ross Porter Jr. as the company’s senior vice president, and president of its global power tools division.
The 51-year-old comes to Apex from Chamberlain Industries and Newell Brands, where he spent 20 years.
“Ross has a proven track record with deep experience in the tool industry, particularly around new product development, operations and M&A (mergers and acquisitions),” said Apex Tool CEO James J. Roberts. “I look forward to his leadership in driving strategic growth and continuing to elevate our business globally.”
Apex’s brands include Wiss, which makes several sheet metal forming tools, including snips.
