PHCC adds chapter
The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Contractors National Association has its first South Carolina chapter. Established in September 2015, the chapter has elected officers and is currently working on recruiting member companies.
“We are excited to welcome the PHCC of South Carolina into the PHCC family,” said PHCC President Chip Greene of Greene & Associates in Macon, Georgia. “We’re working with local members and industry partners to establish a strong state affiliate to give contractors easy access to the edu¬cation, training, regulatory and legislative support that can put them a step ahead of the competition. Thanks to a combined effort, this chapter is becoming a reality.”
Charter member Tom Wilbert of Carolina Cool Inc. in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, said establishing a PHCC chapter is a momentous event.
“We made history today, and should all be proud that we’re building a better future for our industry and the citizens of South Carolina,” he said.
