Contractor introduces pre-insulated duct to region
A Chicago-area contractor celebrated being named the exclusive ductwork fabrication company for a phenolic duct system with a Sept. 18 open house.
Sheet Metal Werks of Arlington Heights, Illinois, showed off the pre-insulated Kingspan KoolDuct and ThermaDuct systems to hundreds of HVAC market contractors.
The lightweight duct product offers fast installation, better air quality and it meets green HVAC program standards, according to Sheet Metal Werks President Kevin Ryan.
“In my 30 years as a sheet metal fabricator, I have not seen a product that has the potential to revolutionize the industry like KoolDuct can — and will,” Ryan said. “We are confident that every level from the owner of the building down to the mechanical contractor will capitalize on the diverse array of benefits that KoolDuct offers.”
