Thanks to Emcor Group Inc. and its subsidiaries, a charity for abducted and abused children now has $10,000 to add to its efforts.

Executives from Emcor Services Northeast, J.C. Higgins Corp. and Building Technology Engineers Inc. presented a check to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children during a July 20 ceremony at a charity golf event in Sutton, Massachusetts. The company has donated more than $2 million to the center.

“On behalf of Emcor Services Northeast, J.C. Higgins and BTE, we sincerely thank our clients for their support and extraordinary participation in the Emcor in Greater Boston 8th Annual Charity Golf Event,” said Emcor Services Northeast President Phillip Megna. “It’s due to their efforts and support that we’re able to make a $10,000 donation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.”

Emcor’s national Taking Kid Safety to the Street program was launched 10 years ago in partnership with the center.
