Unico selling air handler
Unico says homeowners will like its new vertical air handler. Small enough to be placed in closets, basements or mechanical roofs, it can bring comfort to hard-to-cool areas.
HVAC sales companies will like it too, they add.
“Maybe we should call this unit an ‘invisible’ air handler,” said Scott Intagliata, marketing director for Unico Inc. “The customer will hardly know it’s there.”
Available in modular horizontal and vertical styles, it allows HVAC construction contractors more installation choices. The new vertical unit is available in 2-, 2.5- and 3-ton sizes, depending on capacity.
It is available with Unico’s green HVAC SMART control board, an efficient electronically commutated motor.
