Tool company sponsoring anti-cancer event
Klein Tools announced it is a flagship sponsor for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Chicago Walk, which takes place Oct. 26 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The event, which is similar to ones help across the country, encourages lawmakers to make anti-cancer funding and research a priority.
“Klein Tools is proud to be a flagship sponsor of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Chicago to help increase awareness and raise money for research on breast cancer which affects millions of people,” said Klein President Thomas R. Klein. “Our commitment to fighting all cancers involves not only our company sponsorship, but also the commitment of our employees who will participate in the walk, company raffles and two ‘jeans’ weeks where employees donate money to wear jeans to work.”
