SMACNA has smart phone app
The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National
Association now offers members a smart phone application on duct air leakage.
The free app is available through Apple’s iTunes Store and works on iPhones, the iPad and the iPod Touch. It uses information from SMACNA’s latest version of the HVAC Air Duct Leakage Test Manual.
It is a quick way to determine the pass-fail mark for specified leak tests, association officials said. The application also creates a report that can be e-mailed.
