Thermadyne’s “Built with Class” welding contest is now under way.
Students and their trade schools can win cash and welding equipment, either
as beginner individuals or as part of a more advanced team. Beginner
contestants can win $250, and teams can win $500. In addition, a Thermal Arc
3-in-1 will go to schools that sponsor winning students.
“At Thermadyne, we are committed to helping build the future
of this industry, not only to crafting better and safer equipment, but to the
people that will use them - the next generation of welders,” said Tony Coco, director
of channel marketing and national accounts. “We recognize that the efficiency
and precision of our tools would be lost without skilled hands to guide them.
Sharing our experience and knowledge with the next generation is just as
essential to the growth of our industry as the tools they will use.”
