The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and, Refrigeration has renewed a contract with China’s General Machinery Product Inspection Institute for water-cooled chiller testing of Chinese-made products.

The agreement was reached Feb. 1 at the AHR Expo in Las Vegas.

"With the extension of GMPI's contract to conduct chiller testing in China, AHRI is well poised to meet the growing interest in AHRI's chiller certification program from Chinese manufacturers," said Stephen Yurek, the AHRI’s president and chief executive officer. “This agreement is an important step in what we hope and expect will be an ongoing, very productive relationship.”
