Tek-Air Systems wins environmental award
Tek-Air
Systems Inc. was named manufacturer of the year by the International Institute
for Sustainable Laboratories and Labs For The 21st Century. The award,
sponsored by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U. S. Department
of Energy, was presented at the I2SL conference Sept. 28-30 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The award was given to Tek-Air Systems Inc. as a manufacturer that significantly contributes to reducing the overall environmental footprint and energy usage of a laboratory, hospital or critical facility through innovative design and engineering of equipment. The Danbury, Conn.-based company manufactures a variety of products including air flow control valves, indoor and outdoor air flow measuring devices, laboratory controllers, fume hood controllers and more.
