WaterFurnace put on Canadian ‘clean' list
This is the third consecutive year WaterFurnace
has made the list of "clean-tech" companies.
WaterFurnace Renewable Energy Inc. has been named one of the top clean-technology companies in Canada.
The company was put on the Cleantech 10 list by Corporate Knights Inc. and Cleantech Group LLC. The list is a compilation of publicly traded Canadian companies that use resources efficiently and help the environment.
This is the third consecutive year WaterFurnace has made the list.
“We are thrilled to again be honored with the Cleantech 10 Award,” said Tom Huntington, president and chief executive officer at parent company WaterFurnace International Inc. “For the third year in a row, WaterFurnace stands beside companies that are assuming leadership roles in the development and application of technologies that enable us to do more with the natural resources available to us, while impacting the environment less.”
Huntington, along with representatives of other winning companies, rang the opening bell at the Toronto Stock Exchange Oct. 26.
