Canadian institute offers U.S. training
The Heating, Refrigeration and Air
Conditioning Institute of Canada’s SkillTech Academy is coming to the United
States.
In response to requests from equipment makers, the HRAI will present its two-day course on residential mechanical ventilation in Michigan, Massachusetts and Illinois in coming months.
“We now have staff in the United States actively promoting the residential mechanical ventilation installation training and servicing the needs of the U.S. industry,” said Joanne Spurrell, HRAI’s director of education and market development.
The course is designed for those already involved in mechanical ventilation as well as contractors who wish to enter the market. Those who complete the course can also qualify for credit with the North American Technician Excellence and Building Performance Institute programs.
Courses are scheduled for March 17-18 in Melrose Park, Ill.; and March 19-20 in Arlington, Heights, Ill. A session is also planned for April 21-22 in Wyoming, Mich.
