S-5's DualGard reduces chances of roof snow avalanches
The new S-5 DualGard snow retention system has two 1-inch pipes to keep snow and ice in place while it melts, which increases pedestrian safety by reducing chances of roof snow avalanches. Mounted with S-5 mini clamps, the system comes with two sizes of snow clips and can be painted, powder-coated or anodized to match almost any metal roof. DualGard has also been fully tested and can be engineered for specific roofs and environments, officials said.
