MultiCam has introduced its V-Series plasma, which the company says is designed for companies looking for maximum value in a CNC plasma machine. It is ideal for the entry-level manufacturer or anyone on a budget, officials say. Capable of cutting mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass, the V-Series plasma is offered in a variety of table formats and comes standard with Hypertherm plasma cutting torch technology. The V Series plasma offers a wide variety of standard features, including the MultiCam 2545 EZ Control, a four-axis motion Control system complete with EZ Suite application software. Also included is MultiCam EZ G Code programming software, standard Ethernet or RS232 direct connections, a custom engineered, extruded aluminum frame with steel leg supports, automatic torch height, dual X-axis digital high-speed drive motors and integral V Cam roller bearings for maximum stiffness and contamination resistance
