Equipment maker Hypertherm started its plasma machine tour last weekend, taking its mobile cutting centers to auto races in Southern California July 12-13.

They’re showing the Powermax30, Powermax1250 and PowermaxEdge and explaining how easy it is to cut with plasma.

“While on the road, we are constantly approached by people interested in learning more about plasma. People want to see the newest technology and learn how to optimize their current system,” said Jeff Deckrow, Hypertherm’s North American director. “The new Hypertherm mobile cutting centers will make it easier for us to do just that. It enables people to receive personalized demonstrations as well as touch and use some of the world’s best plasma arc metal cutting systems.”

Future stops include racetracks in Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Texas, as well as other locations in California.
