This year’s Fabtech, taking place Nov. 16-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, promises a lineup of special events that feature industry-leading speakers, panel sessions, product development and strategic perspectives in the metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing industries.

Event organizers are expecting more than 28,000 exhibitors and attendees at the show.

“Each year, our goal is to provide exceptional manufacturing programming that our exhibitors and attendees cannot find anywhere else,” said John Catalano, Society of Manufacturing Engineers’ senior director at Fabtech. “As the metal fabricating industry continues to change and grow, it’s vital that we give thought leaders a platform to discuss how and why it’s happening. Ultimately, this discourse helps introduce attendees to new strategic perspectives that can help improve their businesses.”

Special events at Fabtech 2016 include: “The Power to Win,” a keynote address delivered by boxing legend Ray Charles “Sugar Ray” Leonard; “State of the Industry: Post-Election Analysis,”  a panel discussion on the 2016 presidential election moderated by Precision Metalforming Association President William Gaskin; and a Women of Fabtech networking breakfast and technology tour.
