Malco Products Inc. has released a compact accessory called the Malco TurboCrimper Impact, which works with the power assistance of impact driver technology to crimp 30- to 24-gauge galvanized round duct and black stove pipe. The crimper doesn’t require any setup or adjustment. Simply connect the ¼-inch power groove drive shaft to an impact driver to crimp multiple sizes, types and thicknesses of pipe, ductwork and spiral duct. Malco says its TurboCrimper Impact is five times faster than a manual crimping tool based on field results, and works with the impact driver in forward or reverse.
