The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) and the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) have revised their Model NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Program for Service to make its contents consistent with recent revisions to the NFPA Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E - 2015).

A speaker who had my complete attention at the MSCA educational conference was business author Tim Sanders. Sanders said a future war for talented workers is brewing. When I heard him say that, I perked up because the first editorial I wrote for The NEWS a year and a half ago was about the coming labor shortage.
The Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) held its 26th annual educational conference on Oct. 9-12, and reported its largest attendance ever with more than 600 registrants. More than 90 of the registrants were first-time attendees.
