The main themes of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) conference are systems with natural refrigerants, cooling with natural resources, low-energy cooling systems and sustainable systems.
Key areas to be focused on include: natural primary refrigerants, sorption systems, low-emission and low-charge systems, secondary coolants and (ice) slurries, nonconventional refrigeration systems, heat transfer and fluid flow, evaporative cooling, energy efficiency in relation with the refrigerants used, low-GWP refrigerants, cogeneration --combined heat and power (CHP), recovery of heating and cooling energy in soil and buildings, energy neutral systems, zero-energy greenhouses, high-temperature heat pumps, natural refrigerants and oil behavior, supermarket technology, heat transfer and fluid flow, and water impact in ammonia systems. Several technical tours will be available.
