I Think...This Industry Attracts Good People
I was struck by something while attending another annual Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) meeting (I attended my first in 1983). There are a lot of great people in this industry! Not because of what they do but because of who they are.
I am talking about people that would give you the shirt off their back. I saw my oldest friend in the industry at ARI and we go back 37 years. I would like to think I made a few new friends with the first timers who were at the meeting. It doesn’t stop at ARI. The same thing happens at ACCA, MCAA, AMCA, and HARDI meetings. They are hard working; fun loving, sincere people and they want to do the right thing for the future of the HVAC industry.
I don’t know what attracts them, but I’m sure glad we have them. This industry is blessed with good people and I am blessed to be part of it.
