Z-Flex Donates to Habitat for Humanity

Two new semi-detached housing units in Kingston, Ontario, are designed with boilers rather than a typical furnace and installed with Z-Flex's Z-Vent.
KINGSTON, Ontario - Z-Flex recently contributed to Habitat for Humanity by installing its Z-Vent flexible ventilation system in two new semidetached housing units designed with boilers rather than a typical furnace.

"The decision to go with radiant heating for this project was the perfect choice," said Sandra Berg, Habitat for Humanity, Kingston. "One of the children has a dust allergy, so radiant heating meets their needs perfectly." She commended Z-Flex's generosity and quick turnaround.

"From the moment I contacted Rick Lemmon from Wolsely, he assured me that Z-Flex would support this project," noted Berg. "One of the challenges in completing projects of this size revolves around a dependency on volunteers. Steve Urh of Novaflex in Ottawa, however, did not hesitate. After consultation with the head office, he confirmed they would be delighted to help out."
