Veteran Honored For 50 Years of Involvement

PHILADELPHIA - Industry veteran Sol Holtzin (pictured at right, center) has been honored for his long involvement in HVACR including 50 years as a member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES). A testimonial dinner was given in his honor by the RSES Delaware Valley Chapter, of which he is a member. Family, friends, RSES members, and industry representatives gathered for the event.

"There is no one in the world more deserving than our dear friend Sol Holtzin to be recognized for a life achievement in helping untold numbers of individuals in the HVACR industry and in particular RSES," wrote Jack Hasick of Calgary, Alberta, who like Holtzin is a past president of RSES.

"Sol, in all his working years, gave unselfishly of his time to elevate the skills and knowledge of countless technicians."

He was given the society's distinguished service award in 1971 and made an honorary member in 1982.
