  • Conectiv (Wilmington, DE) reported consolidated 2000 earnings of $2.10 per common share before nonrecurring charges and gains, an increase of 11% over 1999 earnings per common share of $1.89. Nonrecurring charges of $0.28 per common share were recorded in the second quarter of 2000 in connection with the sale of Conectiv’s hvac business and a portion of its thermal business, and a $0.15 per common share positive impact for the sale of nuclear interests in the fourth quarter by Conectiv subsidiary Delmarva Power & Light Co.
