Unified Group Hosts Forum

BROADVIEW, Ill. - More than 35 HVAC companies intend to improve their service departments as a result of The Unified Group’s 2008 Service Management Forum held in Salt Lake City.

The Unified Group members were able to share best practices for developing an ongoing recruiting plan, executing service contract management, and implementing green benefits.

“The Unified Group meetings have elevated my game and have also served to reaffirm some of the things I already do that work,” said a meeting attendee. “From this conference and the others before this, I get recharged and I go back ready to produce results.”

Others said they plan to develop specific goals of blending LEED/energy issues with an existing customer base, create hybrid service agreements, and rewrite contracts for pricing and adjustments. The forum ended with a workshop on effective communication and time management skills from Henrik Rosvall, the executive director of In The Zone Institute.
