CHICAGO - Sporlan says virtually corrosion free brass bodies and stainless steel motor housings along with compact size for maximum flexibility in valve location are just two of the new enhancements on its new electric expansion valves SER(I)-G, SER(I)-J, and SER(I)-K. The three new valves have nominal capacities of 30, 60, and 90 tons (100, 200 and 300 kW) respectively.

All models feature a removable cable design and integral sight glass. The removable cable design allows installation of the valve into the piping without the possibility of cable damage. All three valves are also designed with motor and adapter assemblies that can be removed for cleaning, or replacement, without removing the valve body from the piping. Compatible with HCFC and HFC refrigerants, the valves are now available for customer test and qualification.
