PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Four of the industry’s service technicians have been named winners of Trane’s HVAC Parts & Supplies 2008 Outdoor Adventure Program’s grand prize year-end trip giveaway. The winners are: Ryan Asselin of Industrial Building Services in Kingsport, Tenn.; Brad Gamroth of Bassett Mechanical, Madison, Wis.; Steve Kostas of Comfort Air, Grand Junction, Colo.; and Kevin Roy of BG Mechanical Service, Springfield, Mass.

More than 20,000 technicians and service contractors entered the drawing at participating Trane HVAC Parts & Supply stores. The program was a series of promotions designed for service technicians and contractors to experience an outdoor adventure and additional prizes.

Trane HVAC Parts & Supplies has already begun its 2009 “Championship Season” program. Divided into three seasons, it will run through the end of Nov. 2009. Each season offers new chances for incentives on seasonal parts, supplies, and tools.

The first season from February - April offers the choice of mechanic’s gloves or a tool bag with a purchase of more than $400. In April, each of the 191 participating locations will give away an Ingersoll Rand Cordless ¼-inch Impactool kit. Service technicians and contractors can register solely by visiting a local participating Trane HVAC Parts & Supply location to register for the no-purchase-necessary prize package.

The 2009 grand prize is a trip for two to “The Big Game” in Feb. 2010 in Miami. The trip includes airfare, hotel, ground transportation, and more. In addition to the grand prize, four additional winners will receive a 42-inch flat screen TV and stereo surround system.
