The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched a new mobile app to assist schools and school districts in performing comprehensive IAQ facility assessments to protect the health of children and school staff.
Because consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of managing IAQ, they are willing to spend money to purchase products to improve overall comfort in their homes. As a result, the U.S. IAQ market is forecast to grow to $11.4 billion by 2019 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7 percent over the next four years.
Left untreated, mold will continue to grow and spread and can damage walls, ceilings, carpeting, and more. Every time the house is closed up and the a/c is turned off, the moisture creeps back in and the mold begins growing again.
