HTS, one of the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representatives in North America, aims to continue its growth with a goal to double its revenue in Texas by 2020. The company plans to grow its Texas revenues by 2020 to reach $330 million in just 19 years of operation.
The global heat exchangers market was valued at $14.1 billion in 2014, and it is forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.5 percent from 2015 to 2020, according to a report from P&S Market Research.

Johnson Controls announced it has expanded its magnetic-bearing centrifugal chiller line, the York YMC2, to 1,000 tons of cooling (3,500 kW). The larger cooling capacity units address the need for reduced sound, high efficiency, and low maintenance as well as featuring magnetic bearing and oil free technology.

NexRev LLC has announced the introduction of a national authorized dealer network focusing on local market distribution of its DrivePak™, an HVAC retrofit upgrade for standard rooftop units (RTUs), through established HVAC contractors.
The Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) convened on Orlando for its 2015 annual conference in December. The event welcomed the most distribution companies since 2007.
ACCA members came from around the country to learn office operational management strategies. The event, which was presented by ACCA and The NEWS, was immediately preceded by the Service Managers Forum, capping off a four-day gathering of ACCA managers across multiple disciplines.

Johnson Controls announced it is enhancing its HFC product lines to be fully compatible with the non-flammable, low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant Opteon™ XP10 (R-513A) manufactured by The Chemours Co. York centrifugal and screw chillers ranging from 125 to 6,000 tons (440 to 21,100 kW) are compatible with R-513A.
