NIBE Industrier AB of Sweden and LSB Industries Inc., Oklahoma City, announced that they have entered into a stock purchase agreement by which NIBE will acquire 100 percent of the outstanding shares of The Climate Control Group Inc. from LSB for a purchase price of $364 million.

HB McClure Co., a central Pennsylvania commercial and residential mechanical contractor, has announced the acquisition of Mainhart Mechanical LLC, Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, which specializes in residential plumbing, heating, and air conditioning repair, installation, and construction services.
HVAC chiller manufacturers are offering a range of products in multiple configurations that use new refrigerants, consume less energy, communicate more effectively, can be serviced more easily, and may be designed to fit a wide range of applications.
Performing regular maintenance on chillers ensures they will operate as efficiently, and for as long, as possible. And while maintenance plans and practices can vary from region to region, manufacturer to manufacturer, and even client to client, HVACR contractors agree that minimal maintenance is better than no maintenance.
The average price for a gallon of gas in 2012 was $3.68, per the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Prices averaged $2.43 in 2015 and are expected to maintain similar or lower prices throughout 2016 and into 2017.
