University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Performance Services Sign $19.3 Million Energy Contract

Project will reduce university's energy usage by 32 percent

The UAPB energy performance project is the largest of its kind completed under the AEPC Program. Once completed, the project will decrease UAPB's energy consumption by a sizeable 32 percent, making it the first state university to meet the 30 percent energy reduction mandate signed into law by Act 1494 of 2009.

Helicopter Transports NOVA Air Conditioners for ebm-papst in Hagenmoos

The decision to use air conditioner manufacturer NOVA was easy to make

Some situations require new ways of thinking — and setting up the air conditioners on the roof of the ebm-papst location in Hagenmoos/St. Georgen was one of them. The factory hall is simply too large for conventional setup with a crane. They would have had to build an access road especially for the crane. Instead, they decided to transport the five air conditioners to the roof via helicopter.

Project improves classroom comfort and drives sustainability throughout school district

Schneider Electric announced the completion of a $3.4 million infrastructure improvement project at four district schools at the Keystone Oaks School District in Pittsburgh. The project is expected to significantly improve classroom comfort and reduce annual energy and maintenance costs by 18 percent.
