PASADENA, TX — Eddie Hollub of Modern Plumbing Co., Pasadena, TX, was installed as president of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) during PHCC's recent national convention in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Hollub has been president and co-owner of Modern Plumbing Co. Inc. since 1976. He has served on numerous boards, held various offices, and has been recognized for diversified plumbing and non-plumbing-related accomplishments.

Hollub has been active in PHCC on the local, state, and national levels since 1986. He served as president of PHCC Texas 1992-93; chaired various committees, such as the political action, budget, and finance committees; and is one of the founding members of the Gulf Coast Area Chapter. His company also is a member of Quality Service Contractors, a PHCC enhanced service group.

The native Texan started his plumbing career in 1972 at the age of 17 as a licensed journeyman plumber in Texas. He has received certification in backflow prevention, medical gas, A.O. Smith Water Products Co. service course for gas/electrical commercial and industrial water heating, and Texas Department of Health installer of on-site sewerage facilities.

Hollub will serve on the PHCC Executive Committee with President-elect Steve Carder, Vice President Mary Garvelink, Secretary Willie Roberson, and Executive Vice President Ike Casey.
