The ESIII Series of R-410A geothermal heat pumps are available and replace the previous R-22 models. The series consists of geothermal vertical packaged units, split system compressor section models, matching air handlers and an A coil for split systems, and water-to-water units. The water-to-air equipment is Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute-certified and meets Energy Star® requirements. Vertical and split units come standard with Copeland UltraTech® scroll compressors; water-to-water heat pumps include Copeland single-speed scroll compressors. All units are standard with microprocessor controls, desuperheater with internal heat exchanger/pump, and durable Galvalume® cabinets. The vertical packaged heat pumps are standard with electronically commutated, variable-speed fan motors and stainless steel drain pans.
