GREENSBORO, N.C. - Tencarva Machinery Co. has contracted with John Crane Inc. to add the territories of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia for representation of the John Crane lines of mechanical seals and support systems, according to Rod Lee, Tencarva president.

“With the John Crane product lines, we can offer an excellent selection for any mechanical sealing problem, as well as the support systems required with the seal,” explained Lee. “Even more importantly, the service and support from the John Crane organization is outstanding. Our Florida and Greenville, S.C., sales forces have been extremely complimentary of the performance and responsiveness of the John Crane people.”

The John Crane line of mechanical seals includes these mechanical seal brand names: John Crane, Sealol, Safematic and Flexibox. Other product lines include John Crane Packing, John Crane Power Transmission Couplings (previously Flexibox Couplings), LEMCO mechanical seal and support systems, heat exchangers, and lubrication systems. John Crane is the world’s largest provider of mechanical seals and packing for all industries, said the company. The company’s offerings include sealing solutions for all types of rotating equipment, including pumps, agitators, fans, mixers and blowers.

“Tencarva is the market leading distributor in the Southeast region. We perform best when the manufacturer we represent is also the market leader nationally or internationally,” said Lee. “John Crane is the largest seal manufacturer in the world and has long held the market leading position in the U.S. It is a perfect match.”
