The VT Series short set vertical turbine pumps are designed for use in water supply/transfer applications, including condenser water, chilled water, water transfer, pressure boosting, and water supply. The units are available in 30 models and 11 5-foot column assemblies. They come standard with GE high-efficiency induction-type motors. They are equipped with ductile iron discharge heads and 250-psi stuffing box, 416 stainless steel shafting and couplings, stainless steel impellers, and epoxy-lined cast iron intermediate bowls. The pumps’ high-profile discharge heads allow a two-piece head shaft. Dual 1/4-inch air release ports are located at the top of the discharge flange. VT Series pumps, in 4- through 12-inch suction sizes, have gpm flow rates ranging from a low of 75-110 gpm up to 4,000-6,000 gpm.
