The Low Water Cutoff (LWCO) control provides protection for boilers by acting as either the primary or secondary low water cutoff, depending on the installation, the company says. The controls are designed to work on many types of boilers, from residential hot water boilers to large industrial steam boilers. Probes can either be standard on-board or remote, and come in 1/2 and 3/4-in. NPT connections; extended length 12- and 24-in. remote probes are available. Two types are available: LT and LN. The LN are for smaller residential hot water boilers, under 400,000 Btu. The LT is intended mostly for larger hot water boilers and all steam boilers. The LT Model features an external test button, adjustable Delay On Break (DOB) mode, and a Delay On Make (DOM) mode.
