Easy installation and serviceability, plus a wide range of sizes to fit any application, the CBX expansion tanks are constructed to meet the requirements of Section VIII, Division 1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, says the manufacturer. Each tank is designed for vertical installation with a seamless molded butyl bladder to inhibit loss of pre-charging pressure due to leaking seams, says the company. Available in 13 models from four to 160 gal each, the CBX expansion tank features a bottomless outlet system connection, designed with 125 or 150 psig working pressure with maximum temperatures to 240°F.
