Symposium On Mold Scheduled

ATLANTA — Aerias will hold its Third Annual National Symposium: “Protecting Indoor Environments and Building Occupants” Oct. 22-23 in Atlanta.

According to show organizers, the symposium will feature national experts who will set out to give practical, real-world guidance on critical indoor air quality (IAQ) issues.

Joseph Lstiburek, with Building Science Corporation, will explain why buildings fail and how to design and construct buildings to prevent mold and other IAQ problems. David Odom, with CH2M Hill, will explore why the design and construction community often does not meet seemingly simple requirements to prevent moisture and mold problems.

Other featured speakers will present information on investigating and interpreting mold findings, mold-related litigation, and a mold remediation standard.

For more information on the symposium, visit www.aerias.org.
