Maximaâ„¢ ML-3500D and ML-3500FL ultraviolet (UV) lamps enable technicians to see all the leaks in an air conditioning or refrigeration system, the company says. According to the manufacturer, these two models use advanced Micro Discharge Light (MDL) technology, a unique filter, and a bulb-reflector assembly to produce up to 10 times more UV-A than conventional 100-watt or 150-watt lamps. The ML-3500D features a spot bulb, while the ML-3500FL uses a flood bulb. Both lamps are available in 120-volt and 230-volt AC versions and a 12-volt DC version.
