Paige and Garry Simpson, owners of Simpson Air, have announced that the Greater Tampa Area Chamber of Commerce has named the company a finalist for its Small Business of the Year Award. Out of 300 entries, Simpson is the only HVAC company to make the finals, they said.

One of the finalists in the 21- to 50-employee category, Simpson, which services all of Hillsborough County, was judged on solid and ethical standards, business goals, operational management, innovativeness and response to adversity, leadership and community involvement.

“On behalf of our entire team, we’re excited to receive this honor from the Tampa Chamber,” said Paige Simpson.

Created in 2008, Simpson Air is the retail division of Simpson Mechanical, which was founded in 1999. Simpson is a Carrier factory authorized dealer.
