Siemens Building Technologies Inc.: Variable-Frequency Drives
The line of SED2 variable-frequency drives has been improved. The enhancements provide increased drive robustness and reliability. A number of software and hardware changes have been made to simplify programming startup and operation. Software features have been added that automatically restart the drive after a main power failure or fault condition. Hardware improvements include increased strength of internal components and connections, a protective coating on internal circuit boards, and a new type RS-485 protective circuit for improved communication reliability.
